lazy weekend.

this weekend has been pretty blah. i've opened blogger so many times to write, just to sit here with an empty post for a few minutes and x out. i guess i was feeling a bit uninspired and to be honest i still am a bit.

i ordered some liberty of london items from target last night at 4AM. i've been seeing good reviews on various blogs and twitter so i'm hoping that i love it. JPG did NOTHING for me. i'm totally in love with all of the beautiful floral prints from LOL. the county in nj that i live in has "blue laws" which mean you can't buy clothing/electronics on sundays - aka no target. i could go out of county but there's a lot of damage because of the awful 40-50mph winds and rain we had yesterday...so i'm trying to get to the store tomorrow to look at some stuff in person, as well as hunt down a particular bag i'm looking for as well as a wallet. i'll be sure to do a review once i see things in person.

this was the item that i've had my eye on for a while now. i didn't purchase it because i didn't feel like paying shipping on one necklace. needless to say, i immediately took advantage of the free shipping for this super cute necklace! i love anything with elephants. i first fell in love with emily's necklace on cupcakes and cashmere and then was happy to find this alternative from dianna from the budget babe! i also bought this necklace after rai told me about it - so cute!

this was another piece that i found on the budget babe (thanks dianna!). it was actually worn by one of the contestants on american idol. that show is sort of my guilty pleasure and i actually adored the cardigan, so i HAD to get it! i don't own anything like this cardigan, even with the seeming abundance of cardigans in my wardrobe already.

i've been looking for the perfect black skirt for a while. i work in a conservative work environment and i can't wear anything too too short. this seems to fit the bill! and for under $6, how could i pass it up?

i couldn't make my mind up if i wanted this or not, but i kept going back to the page. i like the detailing and i think it's a unique piece. a bit expensive for f21, but it's silk. i hope it looks as pretty in person!

now, this isn't for me. i've been looking high and low for the perfect bag for my mom's birthday in april. she doesn't like to wear black bags in the summer, so i figure this shade of brown will be perfect for her!

i didn't purchase this online but instead in store a few weeks ago. the print is gorgeous! i don't care for the slip underneath the dress, but without it the dress is a bit sheer/see-thru. i think i'll be cutting the slip out and paring it with something else. this is a great f21 find though.

i also made a purchase from anthropologie for the first time EVAHHH and i'm thrilled with my purchase. i'll post a separate entry this week about it!
