waiting for this in the mail

i saw this dress in a magazine and immediately knew i had to have it

but i ran into two problems...

a. i couldn't find it via search. i emailed the company and they responded like the next day.

b. it is on back order until the end of august.


i probably won't get too much use out of it THIS season. i'm not sure how much i can wear a white dress in the fall...but i know that i'll get a ton of use out of it in the future. who knows, maybe i can find a way to make it work in the fall too. it's simply a beautiful piece. it looks versatile enough for work, a party or even just out (okay, i do like to get a bit too dressed up even just to go to the mall sometimes, but it even outs because sometimes i bum it out).

and seriously, does it look like it was $34? i've heard of Lulu's before (i'll admit, i stalk their products...) but i've never actually ordered from there. i'm hoping that i'm happy with my purchase.
