review of holllywood intuition

i have babbled a bit about the hollywood intuition line at target. alright, i've babbled a lot. but i must give credit where credit is due.

does anyone remember that botkier for target line? the purses RUBBED OFF ALL OVER THE PLACE. and it's not like i even wore it for a while and then it did...it rubbed off on me as i took it out of the box after ordering online. but i digress.

the hollywood intuition line is one of the best lines i've seen at target. like...ever. i warn you, the following review is a little on the babbly long side, but you'll get my honest opinion on the pieces that i've seen from the line.

i'll be honest - i bought a LOT from this line and i didn't really plan on it in the beginning. i walked into target looking for something else like buffalo pretzels and saw the hollywood intuition display. (doesn't this always happen at target? you go in for one thing and leave with some shiz for yourself?) i saw a black purse and fell in love. even though i really don't need a black purse, i had to get it. it was the only one left too. the next day i went back to buy the purple one i'd been eying up...and the same day i bought the purple style in black. and i bought the orange bag. bad, i know. but i could not pass this line up. i also love how the colors can transition easily from summer into fall.



Hollywood Intuition Large Satchel

this was the first bag that i saw from this line and it caught my eye as soon as i walked in. i couldn't leave the store without buying this bag. the faux leather is of great quality. i bought this bag in both colors. the orange instantly brightens up an outfit. note that unlike the picture online, it's not neon orange but more of a burnt orange. i've received so many compliments on the bags and they definitely look more expensive than they were.

i love the shape of this bag. there were 3 of these in purple at my one target and when i went back today there was only 1 left. very happy that i scored it ;) and i just had to go to ANOTHER target to get the black version. i love how it can be worn a few ways, even across like messenger style. very versatile and perfect for people on the go or college students. i'd safely say that a macbook can fit in it. i've seen the green in person and have had to pull myself away from it. two is enough...for now ;P i know i'll get a ton of use out of this bag especially when school starts



Hollywood Intuition Belt Bag

i reeeeally wanted to love this bag, but I couldn't. it is a bit TOO small for my personal tastes but probably would be good if you only need to carry around a few things. i think i'd like it better if it was a little bit bigger and instead of being a 3 in 1 bag, be a 2 in 1 bag as a handbag/clutch instead.

love love love. i saw the picture online and was so happy when i found it at the store. all of the bracelets look really cute together and i can tell they'll look great separately too, especially the bangles! i have SUPER small wrists though so i do warn that the bangles (shown on the bottom) are a bit hard to get into. i've seen similar peace (i typed peach at first..whoops) sign bracelets for MUCH more money than this entire set. definitely worth it.

liked it, but wasn't impressed enough to buy it. maybe another target trip. i could definitely see it sprucing up any outfit, especially a black dress or even a plain tee and jeans.

ADORABLE scarf. i can't remember if the scarf matches the interior lining however it matches the interior lining of the bags from the rest of the collection. i do like the bag. it's very simple and roomy. however it just doesn't match up for me quality wise with the rest of the collection. it's sort of a textured material, not like the faux leather of the rest of the collection. the bag itself is just a tad too plain (but sometimes a plain bag is all you need!) and sort of reminds me of a free gift you'd get with a perfume set. it just didn't stand out to me so it's not something i'm dying to buy.

i didn't see these at my local target at first, but after i went back to buy another handbag, i found one pair left. i snatched them up but stupidly didn't try them on. let's put it this way, they can easily look less than a reasonable price if it fits every face like mine. i wanted to love them, but i just couldn't. they're a bit flimsy, personally i would have accidentally broke them in about a week tops. also they were WAY too big on my face frame (and i'm someone who looooves oversized sunglasses). it might work if you have the right face shape, but i'm not so sure. i'd have to say the only thing in this line that i'm disappointed with. save the reasonable price and buy a handbag instead!

the hat's just not my style, so honestly i wouldn't buy it. the hat itself seems very sturdy and it's reversible (black/brown). probably a nice addition to an outfit for the beach.


Hollywood Intuition Snake Tote

i sort of really don't like the whole snakeskin look, so i didn't fall in love with this tote. my least favorite item out of the entire collection. i think it looks much lower quality than the rest to be honest. i thought it was in the wrong section. but hey, i'm sort of biased and spoiled by the rest of the bags ;)




mmkay, so now that i'm done gushing over my love for this line, i'm going to go watch the yankees game and one of my faaaavorite pitchers... JOBA JOBA JOBA! (i have to say it three times, since it is so fun to pronounce. seriously. try it.)




seriously, how can you not love joba joba joba? ...yeah i'm done. yay baseball.
